Welcome to 7th Grade Science! This year, we will explore the amazing world around us through hands-on investigations, experiments, engineering challenges, and real-world problem solving. We will study topics such as cells and living organisms, ecosystems, matter and chemical reactions, energy, human body systems, and engineering design while learning to think like scientists and work like engineers. Students should expect an active classroom where asking questions, collaborating with classmates, collecting evidence, and learning from mistakes are all part of the scientific process. We will use labs, interactive activities, technology, models, and discussions to make science engaging and meaningful. My goal is for every student to leave this class more curious, confident, and prepared to explain how science impacts their everyday lives. Together, we'll discover that science isn't just a subject—it's a way of thinking!
